Psychological Assessments
In our lives, there is little that we can control other than ourselves: how we think, how we feel, and how we respond to the circumstances we’re in. With a psychological assessment, you gain opportunities to precisely understand how you think, feel, and behave. A psychologist will be with you every step of the way in this process, from conducting the assessment, to sharing a detailed report of the results, and to making recommendations with your best interests at heart.

The world makes much less sense than you think. The coherence comes mostly from the way your mind works.

WHAT DO WE DO?
A registered psychologist uses standardized assessment tools to evaluate different aspects of a client’s intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functioning. In some cases for children, a psychological assessment may be part of an evaluation process for adoption.
HOW DO WE DO IT?
Assessments can cover skills of learning, organization, memory, problem solving; academic skills; behavior; emotions and other areas of psychosocial development/state. Aside from a battery of psychological tests, the psychologist may undergo a series of clinical interviews with both client and client’s stakeholders, and review relevant collateral data provided by the client. The assessment process is culminated by a comprehensive report of results and recommendations prepared by the psychologist.
