Events at MAGIS focus on psychosocial education that is both lecture-based and experiential. From free talks to 2-day conferences, these events bring together and build community through an advocacy for mental wellbeing for all ages and the expressive arts.

Duyan brought together national and international thought leaders in the arts and healing practices, including pioneers in the Expressive Arts approach, Paolo J. Knill and Margo Fuchs-Knill. Bounce: living the resilient life (2015)
Bounce was a one-day workshop on stress management and self-care through the expressive arts. A plenary session with psychologist, burnout specialist, and author Dr. Robert Wicks, preceded workshops by Thelma Singson Barrera, RN, Cartwheel Foundation, and IsraAid.
Talks
Head On Chats and Talks in the 2020 pandemic
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Head On Talks explored important discussions to navigate our time as a society dealing with community quarantine and a public health emergency. Aside from physical sustenance (food), shelter, and hygiene, we are also coping with managing our mental wellbeing, sense of safety, and emotional hygiene. We have also launched Head On Chats, which are free 1 hour talks and discussion forums for current issues.
