Occupational Therapy Team

The Occupational Therapy Team at MAGIS are experienced in interventions for children and adolescents – particularly those with Autism, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning and intellectual disabilities, behavioral issues, and other developmental delays.

Part of the Team also handles adult cases, including but not limited to rehabilitation from or wellbeing maintenance in: stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, spinal cord injury (SCI), and traumatic brain injury (TBI).


ginaMa. Angelica Castillo, OTRP

MAGIS Clinical Coordinator
Teacher Gelai completed her baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Santo Tomas in 2014. After obtaining her professional license the same year, she went to pursue her practice in the pediatric setting.  She continues to further her education by attending continuing education lectures and trainings. In the future, she hopes to hone her craft by pursuing a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy or Special Education.


kath.pngFenina Micaella Macalos, OTRP

Teacher Nina graduated B.S. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Santo Tomas in 2014 and has been working as a pediatric occupational therapist for three years, with a specialization in handling early intervention cases (ages 1-3 years old).  Teacher Nina loves music and dance. She plans to become a certified Play Therapist and Feeding therapist in the future.

 


Maria Regina Saniel, OTRP

Teacher Reg completed her degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of the Philippines – Manila in 2009. After obtaining her professional license, she started her practice as a consultant in different private pediatric therapy clinics.  She is also a certified Kids Yoga Instructor for kids and families, certified by Rainbow Kids Yoga (RKY, Singapore).  Teacher Reg regularly innovates her practice through different continuing education lectures and plans to pursue a Masters Degree.


Jonah Mae Velarde, OTRP

Teacher Jonah graduated from University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She is currently practicing both pediatric and adult setting, and is taking up her Master’s degree in Occupational therapy at the University of Santo Tomas.

 


Roel Veras, OTRP

Teacher Roel graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Santo Tomas in 2016. He passed the licensure examinations on the same year and is now currently practicing in the pediatric setting. Upon gaining the necessary work experience, he also has plans of pursuing a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in the near future.

 


Rosslynn Almocera, OTRP

Teacher Ross finished her degree in Occupational Therapy at the Emilio Aguinaldo College – Manila in 2016. Upon passing the licensure examination, she pursued practice in the pediatric setting but retained a fervent heart for a career providing interventions to adults with psychosocial disability. She plans to be a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy provider in the future. Teacher Ross also has a passion for arts and music.
