Movement in the body means movement in our minds. How has your body been moving lately? This #NationalArtsMonth, consider these questions to reflect upon movement as one of your everyday creative processes.

How has music held space for your recently? 🎵 Music holds space. We've been fortunate to have experienced this even virtually, through various workshops and our own team activities (like this digital mural to punctuate a full day of strategic planning).
Talking about music for mental wellbeing 🧠 this #NationalArtsMonth. We all love music in lots of different ways, and have both highly personal (meditation, a heartbreak playlist, learning an instrument) and communal (being at a concert, singing with friends, performing in front of people) experiences of it. What's going on in those experiences? Here are just a few. As much as awareness of these details helps with your personal self-care practice, its application can also be an extremely helpful tool for a trained mental health clinician in therapy sessions.
Today in images you can hear is this moment of sound and music. From vibrations that awaken your senses and your body, to melodies that stir up memories and emotions, music and sound-making offers a rich experience of self-expression that is unique to you. Your voice comes from the depths of you, and how you use it may make you feel restricted or free, strained or at ease. To reflect on sound and music as a creative process (even as a listener!), maybe these questions can help:
